Lee has worked across Canada in the non-profit sector for more than twenty-five years.   A seasoned non-profit executive with a career track record of conceiving and directing the strategies that have ignited growth, raised public awareness, improved governance, and achieved the most aggressive fundraising goals. He combines solid business acumen with advanced communications, advocacy, public speaking, and media relations skills to effectively manage operations, direct strategies, and helps others present a common and consistent message to raise their profile.

He has been the Director of Philanthropy for Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Huronia, an adjunct faculty member of Georgian College’s Fundraising and Resource Development Program and contributing author of “The Vigilant Fundraiser.”

He has led fundraising campaigns at Trent and Lakehead Universities and is the former Executive Director of Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Lee has been a speaker at various international, Canadian and provincial conferences, on varied topics including volunteer management and motivation; board and staff relations as well as fundraising and goal setting. 

He wrote the Ontario Standard curriculum for e-learning in fundraising at the college level for Georgian College. As a consultant, Lee has worked with small grassroots organizations as well as large multi-national charities on board and staff relations, management, major giving, capital campaigns, donor stewardship and strategic planning.

Lee is active in the community as a member of Obesity Canada’s Fundraising Committee, AFP Ottawa’s education committee, and volunteer marketing for the CHITF Taekwondo Associations in Canada and the Dominican Republic.
