MARIE CLAIRE MORIN

Vice-President, Ontario and Outaouais

Marie Claire Morin brings more than 30 years of experience in leading and motivating experienced teams in the execution of fundraising campaigns, including major gifts, fund development, planned giving, annual giving, fundraising events, major fundraising campaigns, as well as external relations and strategic communications campaigns. Marie Claire joined the BNP Performance consulting team in November 2016.

Since her arrival at the firm as Vice-President of the Ontario and the Outaouais office, Marie Claire has managed several key projects in a wide variety of sectors, including health, education, social services, community, and religious organisations, in addition to providing counsel and training in governance for not-for-profit boards.

Marie Claire was executive director of the Old Brewery Mission Foundation from 2014 to 2016, where she led a major fundraising campaign – the largest in the history of the Mission – with a financial goal from private sources of $26M. The campaign closed with a total of $31.5M.

Marie Claire Morin was also vice-president of Advancement and Alumni Relations at Concordia University, founding executive director of the Accueil Bonneau Foundation, founding president and chief executive officer of the National Gallery of Canada Foundation (1998 – 2010), president and chief operating officer of the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation (1994 – 1998), founding director of Development and Communications of the McCord Museum and a member of the management team of the major expansion project, which was made possible by the exceptional gift of the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation.
