Michelle brings to The Goldie Company over 20 years of experience in fundraising and non-profit development. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts with honours in Psychology from Brock University followed by a Master of Arts degree in Philanthropy & Development from Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota.

Working alongside Ben Harder at Harder and Associates for 15 plus years, Michelle has proven knowledge and experience in successful faith-based fundraising. Specializing in capital campaigns with churches of various denominations, Michelle is sensitive to the culture of faith-based fundraising and has always upheld the highest ethical standards of herprofession.

Additionally, Michelle has played a significant role in the non-profit sector with organizations such as Brock University, the Canadian Cancer Society and most recently as the Director of Development for the Lincoln County Humane Society.

Michelle is active in her local community, volunteering at her two sons’ minor hockey association as a board member, coach and team trainer. An avid athlete herself, she participates in triathlons and local charity fun runs. In addition to her passion for sport, Michelle also works with an international dog rescue from St. Lucia as a foster pup parent. Michelle is driven by a passion to help organizations large and small achieve their fundraising and strategic goals.
