Analyst

Shira joined the BNP Performance team in May 2018 as an analyst. She holds a master’s degree in Information Science from Drexel University as well as a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College, Columbia University. Shira is an experienced information professional with a background in public and academic libraries, non-profit and corporate sectors. Passionate about issues surrounding open access, information ethics, and author rights, she is skilled in database development, reporting and data analysis.

In the past few years, Shira has notably acted as the Database Architect for a prominent suicide prevention non-profit located in New York City. She also worked as the Scholarly Communications and Distance Learning Librarian at Fordham University. There, she managed Fordham’s digital collections and scholarly repository in addition to providing research assistance to students and faculty.
