Research Services Coordinator

Saijad joined the BNP Philanthropic team in July 2018 as research coordinator.

Impassioned by literature, Saijad graduated from Université de Maurice with a master’s degree in Modern Languages. In 2016, he completed a second master’s degree in Literary Studies (research profile) at Université du Québec à Montréal. For close to four years he taught at different colleges in Mauritius, sharing his knowledge of French Literature to help students develop a critical mind and sense of aesthetics.

He is currently specializing in research and supports BNP Performance in its philanthropic work. He is also a member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement.

Saijad is also involved in his community. He was able to work with students at Montreal’s École Champlain, reinforcing the importance of literature in the school environment as part of the Adopt a School project that was launched in 2015 by the Department of Literary Studies at UQAM. Saijad always has a book with him and his readings have stirred his own interest in writing. We look forward to the publication of his works!
